Our Appeals
Throughout the year we organise a variety of fundraising events to help us conduct our activities with the refugees in and out of Syria.
The harsh winter across Turkey and the Lebanese Mountains has brought new difficulties for hundreds of thousands of refugees and displaced Syrians. Many are accommodated in shelters with limited or no heating and insulation from the freezing conditions, along with a shortage of blankets and warm clothing.
Bilad Al Shaam has increased distribution of warm blankets and clothes, but we desperately need more.
Ramadan is a month of blessings and it's a month of difficulties for the refuges with scarce resources and food, we at Bilad Al Shaam do our best to offer help with Iftar and food needed for the refugee camps, we are grateful to our volunteers here in the UK, Turkey, Lebanon and Syria for all their efforts to make our humanitarian operations a success.
Eid Al Fitr is a moment of celebration, It's the end of a challenging month especially for the refuges, the appeal will provide families and children with gifts to help them feel they are not forgotten, our priority is to provide shelter, food and other living essentials. We endeavour to meet our obligations and be there for all eventualities.
We at Bilad Al Shaam work extra hard to make this special event of the year, we are committed to bring a genuine joy to people with less or none to live on everyday life. The situation with the refugees is appaling, but we are doing our best to offer them some comfort.
